Lead attorney Jessica Daye received her certification in Native Hawaiian Law from Ka Huli Ao Center for Excellence in Native Hawaiian Law. The Supreme Court of Hawai‘i grants Hawai‘i certification only to lawyers in good standing who have successfully completed a specialty program accredited by the American Bar Association.

Michael Moskowitz

Michael Moskowitz brings over a decade of legal expertise to Daye Law, where he has focused on civil litigation, adeptly handling cases from family law and contract disputes to medical malpractice. His extensive career includes a stint as a prosecutor on Kauai, serving as Executive Director of a nonprofit on Maui, and working at the Hawaii State Capitol starting in 2015 as a Legislative Analyst and clerk, where he successfully drafted impactful legislation like the "Abandoned Vehicles" and "Food Hubs" bills. His legal journey also encompasses earning a law degree from CUNY School of Law, where he founded the Health Law Society and received the Revson Public Interest Legal Fellowship, followed by private practice in corporate law in New York before relocating to Hawaii.

 

Originally from New York, Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from Emory University and attended SUNY Downstate Medical School, where he conducted research and founded the ethics society before pivoting to entrepreneurship and later law. A committed community member, he has served on the boards of the Outdoor Circle and the Hawaii Farmers Union – Waimanalo Chapter, and lectured on criminal justice and law in Honolulu. When not advocating for clients, Michael enjoys nature, gardening, photography, golf, and exploring Hawaiian coffee, bringing the same dedication and curiosity to his legal practice at Daye Law.
